Tomorrow is Tattoo Thursday down at Dr Morse Inc. in Wellington and its safe to say that I am super excited for lots of reasons.
I get to see the new studio which Simon and his apprentice Char (Nursey No Mercy) moved in to in June 2012, I get to see my tattoo sisters Gillian and Michelle, I get to meet Michelle’s dog Milly AND after all that, I’ll be hopping the train over to the Wairarapa to see my Mom for a few days.
I feel quite unfinished in regards to my right arm sleeve.
It was tempting to start the starfish I want for my shoulder but after studying my Ideas Folder and then looking at my arm, I’ve decided to leave that until later. Â It can join the list of 3 or 4 pieces I have planned for later.
I’ve had a few chats to Simon so tomorrow, starting at my wrist, I want to move up finishing bits and filling in where needs be.
My last session was back in March when we started the treasure chest. Â I had my personal photographer Ken with me that time. Â This time around, I’ll have to take my own photographs. Â I’ll post some of the new studio too. Â From what I’ve seen so far, it looks wicked!
Each Tattoo Thursday takes a wee bit of planning so I need to use my time and my money carefully.
Not only is there Simon’s hourly rate – but I need to book about 4-6 weeks in advance so I can think find cheap flights and save for transport, accommodation and food whilst I’m in Wellington.
I’m so excited!
I'm also excited for you and I hope you'll post some pictures of your tattoos!
Thank you!! I've posted quite a few photos and stories about the tattoos that I have over the years.
Thank you for stopping by 🙂
Beautiful designs that can attract people to have tattoo in there body as an art.
