Day Four is over and done with – and in terms of organisation and preparation, it was the one that has taken the most thought so far.

I knew I would be driving down to Hamilton and going to a netball game and then we would be getting changed quickly and heading out to a Comedy show at a pub where we would be having dinner.

I had a hard boiled egg just before I left home and topped up my water bottle.
My Camelbak 1L water bottle goes EVERYWHERE with me.  The poor thing is starting to look a bit battered.
When I stopped in at the service station for a ‘comfort stop’, as with most places, you have to walk past the snacks.  I had looked up the nutritional values on Jack Links Steak Bars and Jerky Bags.  I had hoped that the sugar content wouldn’t be too high (and it’s not – between 2% and 5%) and whilst the sodium is a tad higher than I would like, I am drinking ridiculous amounts of water.  Want to hear a woman pee like a racehorse?  Yup – Hi!
This will be good for an occasional, easy snack on Pure Protein (PP) days.

I have a Nikon V1 for a week or so! It came along for date night last night too

We had tickets to the Comedy Night at the Cook
One of New Zealand’s longest running regular events (8 years I believe), it is hosted by Jan Maree …. who I want to be when I grow up.  She’s one funny mother trucker.  She has a few acts with her each time – my favourite from last night was Simon McKinney.

We had dinner at the Cook.  I ordered the Sirloin Steak and Ken ate everything else on my plate – bar the steak and one very unfried egg.  I even braved the runny yolk *shudder*.  Because I don’t have hunger pains, it was pretty easy.  And I didn’t look like a freak because my boyfriend is a walking human garbage disposal and he finished off everything else.  Except the spring onions on the salad.  They were MINE!

I didn’t weigh in this morning.  I’m pretty happy at how yesterday went though.
We’ll get a battery for the scales this afternoon and I’ll weigh in tomorrow morning.

The last bit of tricky is going to be getting through the weekend.
When push comes to shove, Ken and the kids can just take care of themselves and I’d do my own meals.  But I think I can prepare a few things where I’ll eat part of it and then can add wedges and vegetables etc on the side.

Vegetables!
Don’t let me near brocolli at the moment.

I’m dying to rip its tiny yummy heads off – raw – with my teeth.
