Personal style – I don’t really have any.

Skill at applying makeup – restricted to lashings of mascara and cherry lip gloss

Hair style – blonde, fluffy and an absolute mess.

I have finally admitted to myself that I am in need of something more than just a non frizz spray and help learning how to use my hairdryer and barrel brush!
It doesn’t help my self confidence or opinion of myself when I have spent a couple of hours reading gorgeous blogs by gorgeous girls who take photographs of themselves each day in quite cute (albeit a little kitschy) outfits.  Okay, not all of them are kitschy – some of the vintage stuff is really quite cool.

My hair needs to tread a very very fine line between being super easy to take care of, easy enough for me to style and looking good (because just quietly I am a little bit vain).
I spend a lot of time in the swimming pool, lake and ocean but then come Monday, those pesky ends dont play fair and I end up looking like a scarecrow 75% of the time.

A hair makeover courtesy of a voucher for a wash, cut, blow wave, head massage and treatment with Terrence Underwood at Lava Hair.  Tres excited!
This does not mean that I am breaking up with my stylist of 10 years!  James, I still love you darling xx

Idea’s I have had;

  • a fringe
  • going more brunette (with a proper colourist)
  • short, short, short
  • hair extensions (going completely the other way!)
  • a boyish cut
  • shaving the lot off (when IS Shave for a Cure?)

I’m seeing a bit of a pattern here.  So …… lovely people – Can you help me?

Post a link to any style you think is pretty funky, easy to take care of or might suit me.  I’m definitely not looking to copy any of them but I’d love to know what you think!
And if you can help me in any other way with the other two above, I’d love to hear from you too.
