For some time now I have been dreaming of a new tattoo – a large tattoo – my statement piece.
And I would like my statement piece to be a statement of me.
I am using Evernote to save my ideas and thoughts and some samples of images that I like.
I am building a collection of items for my sleeve. Its very exciting!
Things that make me happy and I think some things that make me me.
Definitely a large ocean and marine influence. I’d quite like it to be centered around a person (an impression or interpretation of me)
I’ve got no idea how they will all come together. I guess that will be a task for the artist.
I’ve rung and booked with Dean Sacred at Sacred Tattoo in Auckland. He is really busy but we have scheduled a consultation in 2 weeks.
In the mean time, I am going to keep building up my collection and looking at some of the lovely work that other people have.
Tumblr and Pinterest are both quite cool for looking at, and saving images, of work that I like.
