Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have

Thanks to the WordPress for iPhone app, todays post is being written on the go.  Out and about. But on the go slow.

I have absolutely nothing that I must do today …. which is something of a super sonic change for me.
Normally Saturdays are get up early days – go to Yoga and then go diving or I am already on the boat and I have to get everyone into action stations so we can leave the marina.  Today, nope!  In fact, I didnt wake up until about half past eleven.

I’m going to try and break this plans/dreams/goals thing down a little – as I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about what I have to do – or want to do.
It might make a nice change – and something to think about while I wander around – with the spare time that I have today.

Today (possibly extended into This Weekend):

  • Plans – nada, zip, nothing
  • Dreams – do some baking (Afghans!) , buy a new duvet cover and possibly a lamp
  • Goals – get out of bed, do some laundry

These coming weeks:

  • Plans – pull out the winter vegetable remains and replant the potager with lettuces, head off to Fiji and the sun, take some photographs, get my espresso machine serviced and repaired
  • Dreams – find a couple of gorgeous outfits to take with me to Fiji, win Lotto, buy a yacht, find a man, sail off into the sunset
  • Goals – sell the Volvo, get the Golf repaired, finish two of my major Infrastructure designs

The next year or so:

  • Plans – schedule my #1 Job Calendar and my #2 Job Calendar so I deliver 100% to both
  • Dreams – talk my Landlord into redoing my kitchen – or at least installing a dishwasher – find the right Koru for my next tattoo (from thigh to shoulder) and get this work done
  • Goals – Become a PADI Staff Instructor and  TDI Technical Instructor

There have been a couple of posts during the 30 Days Of Me Blogging Challenge that have talked about goals.
I firmly believe that there is no point in setting a goal or a target if there is no way of measuring that item – or checking to see that it has been achieved.
So I created my own Goal Posts category to see how well I do in doing what I say I will.
