Sundays are quite possibly my favourite days. Especially when the morning starts by opening the curtains and having the sunshine spill in to my new room.

Napoleon decided he wasn’t interested in Sunday at all and stayed in bed (AND left dirty little paw prints on my clean white sheets!).

Nix decided to get up and hang out in the sunshine. She has a knack of finding the warmest place in the house – and then she drags all her toys there.

I sat on the couch with a super human sized coffee and watched Team New Zealand beat Oracle up and down the America’s Cup course.

Before lunch we went for a walk to the river. Nix chased sticks in and out of the river for nearly two hours. Then she decided that was enough so I tried to get a couple of photos of her but all she wanted to do was chew her stick.

We decided on, and played, our own rules for Team Risk. Teams decided by rolling the dice and team missions. Great fun for the afternoon!
