Day 24- A letter to your parents

The letter P is for my Dad.
For all the times that I think “I’ll just ring Dad” or “I should call Dad” and then something happens or I start something else and I forget.  I dont like the fact that I dont talk to him enough.
I won a mobile phone at an event, and I also won a sim card on Twitter so I gave the phone and the sim card to Dad when we went to Japan.  He likes to tell me it doesnt ring.
He sent me a blank text the other night – when I texted him back and said thanks Dad and then called him, he told me that his new mobile doesnt ring.
I should really make it ring more often.

The letter C is for my Mom.
For the Cottage that we own together in Greytown – and how Mom’s houses all become so warm, comforting and so quickly “Mom”.
My Mom has amazing taste and style.  She is also intensely house-proud (something I am picking up slowly). She has collected some amazing pieces of art and furniture and manages to throw things together …. in a way that amazes me.  For example, we have bright red shiny walls, a gorgeous antique desk and a green leather couch.  All happily living together.  Happy like me, whenever I get to the Cottage.
