I had started posting these individually however I’ve decided that a weekly wrap up is much easier and gives me more of a diary feel.
I’ll go from Mondays through to Sundays so this week is a short one seeing as this year started on a Wednesday.  Oh and … YAYYY 2014!

Thyme

Wednesday: I could have been more clever, should have been more clever with the first photograph of this new project but starting this challenge again was a spur of the moment decision and I didn’t have a lot of time to be creative. So you get a semi-creative title and the thyme that sits on my outdoor table.

Dog Days Are Over

Thursday: The end of another stunning summers day. The lake where we have been walking unfortunately closes before sunset so we went to Lake Rotoroa – which nearly always gives good sunset … and good scents!

Half Full

Friday: Today I have mowed the lawn, clipped the ivy, tied up the grapevine, planted mariogolds and done untold household chores. It was beer o’clock hours ago!

Oh, Hello

Saturday: The hottest day in ages today so I didn’t spend any time in the garden until the sun was well and truly gone. Ken found this big Momma Praying Mantis who decided to hang out on the washing line for a bit.

Sleepy Sunday

Sunday: After the heat of yesterday, a grey day of rain is welcome – especially on a Sunday. We watched movies and all three of us crashed on the couch. Someone snores more than the others though – guess who?!
