I’ve got a few posts planned already for the week ahead, including a bit more about Sundays adventure to Raglan and the Karioi Classic however I wanted to share a little of what has been happening over the weekend … before Sunday.

It’s been go go go!  Driving home last night after dropping the kids off, Ken and I had a recap.
On Thursday night we went and saw the Dark Knight Rises.  I really enjoyed it.  Batman, batsuit, bat bike, Christian Bale.  Loved it all.

On Friday night, we went to the Chiefs versus Crusaders game – and yelled our hearts out.  The Chiefs won!!
Thanks to the Sharks beating the Stormers on Sunday morning (our time), the Chiefs now have a home final next weekend.
I also snapped a couple of us photos.  We don’t have all that many – which is mostly my issue as I loathe photographs of myself.

On Saturday I jumped out of bed before 7am and woke everyone up to watch the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.  Before I got to see New Zealand enter the stadium, I took off to Marcias for a little while – to help her rearrange a couple of pieces of furniture.
In the afternoon we prepared a roast and filled our tummies.

And then it was Sunday.  I’ll blog Sunday soon – suffice to say I’m so proud of Ken and wish I had the stamina to bike that far!
Spending a couple of hours on the couch at the end of the day (with him napping on my legs) wasn’t quite enough to fill the relaxometer … it was so hard to get out of bed this morning!!
