I got out of bed so early that it hurt. It hurt making coffee, it hurt dragging a brush through my hair (not just because it was a complete and total birds nest) and it hurt driving to the beach. It stopped hurting when I got out of the car and watched the darkness become a whole new day.
Watching the sun rise was glorious. Now I have decided that I want to move to a house on the beachfront so I can do that every morning.
So this is what is so great about pre 6am. Walking along a deserted beach watching the light and the colours change every few minutes.
It is a short week this week – thank you Easter.
Which really means its a week where we try and cram 5 days work in to 4. But we do have long weekends. And I love weekends!!
I’m preparing to run an Advanced Open Water course this weekend up at the Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve – fingers crossed that the weather is really good.
