It has been nearly four weeks since I started Dr Dukan’s ‘diet’.
The photograph on the left was taken on Day One – Monday 11 June 2012. We won’t go in to my starting weight but I took a photograph to remember and to start recording how my face changes.
Almost 4 weeks later – on Monday 2nd July, I can see some changes already!
Some of that “waddle” has disappeared. Yayy!!
I’ve been loathing photographs of me for ages as its not just me you need to fit in, but all my chins as well. Any photographs of me are very very well posed and pose held.
It is going really well – I’m not bored with what I am eating.
I’m sleeping well, my eyes and skin are clear.
I am drinking a few cups of Alpine Tea today (google it) in the hope that a few things will shift around though.
In the first few weeks, I had losses each day that I weighed myself but for the past few days, nothing. I re-read the Cruise chapter in Dr Dukan’s book and checked up on a few of the blogs that I follow and apparently it is pretty common. Once you introduce vegetables, you start to retain a little water. For me it might be water .. and a few other things!
All in all, I’m glad I’ve changed my eating.
Next step is to get my ass a little more organised and start adding more exercise into my weeks.

My losing has slowed a touch too… so I'm thinking of weighing myself just weekly now in hopes there'll be a decent difference for me to get excited about!
