Maddy – and her parents Annalie and Ian – were nominated for my Autumn Rewards Paw-Trait sessions by no less than three different people. Thanks to the project reaching its crowdfunding target, I immediately booked a flight to Wellington and went to meet this beautiful Beagle.
Wellington has this amazing ability to change its weather in a heartbeat so as the cloud cleared and some little rays of sunshine appeared, we went outside to a reserve just up the hill. And Maddy showed that even 8 year old Beagles, with a heart condition and daily medication, are still puppies when there is no lead and long grass.
