It is Easter Sunday. It has been raining off and on all day, the chocolate eggs for the kids are on the dining table and there are photographs of Easter hunts appearing on Facebook.
And now I WANT CHOCOLATE!
The combination of removing sugar from our diets (so not being allowed it), looking at it sitting on the table and THAT time of the month is just too much for this girl to handle! So I decided to make some.
What you need: Cacao butter, maple syrup, cacao powder, vanilla paste, shredded coconut, ice cube trays.
Melt 100 grams of cacao butter slowly. Then add 1/4 cup maple syrup and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla paste.
Whisk in 1/2 cup of cacao powder. Then I poured the mixture into ice cube trays. I put a pinch of shredded coconut in the bottom of the trays first.
Pop them in the freezer to set.
After licking the saucepan I have decided that the recipe is perfect. I’m about to go and check them!
