In 2011 I published my first ‘Currently’ post.
Since then, there have been another 10 or so posted when I feel there is something to share but not on a regular occasion. After I took over my blog with my Pet Photography, I’ve been unsure as to whether they have a place here. Yesterday I decided they did. And then this morning I saw that Suzy linked to Jenna who hosts a group who all contribute to a monthly Currently.
Long story short, my monthly Currently posts will remain and give you a little insight into both my personal and business life.
So … who is ready for winter?!
Autumn has just begun and the trees have begun to change. It will be another few weeks before the reds start to really come through in the leaves but the golds are here and they are glorious. A couple of weeks ago, Carol and Kelly (two of my gorgeous Pet Photographer buddys) and I hosted the very first Pet Posse Pet Photography workshop at the Taitua Arboretum. We seriously chose the best location!
Dreaming: Of a better organised life – where I have a bit more time to do the things that are important. Things like playing with the dogs, cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie or going out for a meal. This month will be focused, not only on a better workflow, but a better life flow.
Planning: The next two months – its going to be super busy!!! With a better workflow though, and honestly the BEST other half ever, I’m quite looking forward to it. Not only do I have sessions but Mika is coming home for Easter, I’m visiting the Gibbs Sculpture Farm and heading to Wellington.
Making: Aside from photographs, I’m not making a lot. I have some cacao butter waiting in the pantry for me to make a batch of our super special chocolate. We did a pretty good supermarket shop last night which will help me up my dinner game, but I should get better at food prep, there’s just no time though! Sunday’s are sacred and I want to use them for the people that I love. Time – thats what I should be making.
Baking: Hmmm – absolutely nothing. I can’t bake to save myself!
Watching: We finished American Horror Story: Coven yesterday. Now we’re watching for Freak Show to come on Netflix. We have also just finished The Following. Where do you go from there? I’ll tell you where I went while Ken sat up watching Super Rugby and the Cricket …. Beverley Hills 90210 (but not the original – please put on the original series!).
Good to read your post Tara, glad I’m not the only one who can’t bake to save herself!!
I have a fantastic recipe for a raw caramel slice – and that’s about it. Put me in front of a BBQ or a Slow Cooker though and I can make magic!
Came via the Currently link up. The photo is just stunning! Baking is not my strong point either! Thankfully hubby is quite good! Well I hope you can get a better “life-flow” this month especially if it’s super busy! Sounds fun! 🙂
Yayyy – another one! Thanks Becster – fingers crossed for the life-flow as its needed for sure 🙂
Amen to making time!! That’s a really great answer. I hope you have a great week. Thanks for linking up!
