Yvonne and I call Joe’s Garage (Bryce Street, Hamilton) our ‘office’.  We go there and talk things.
We met there yesterday morning to have a conversation about cameras, for me to check out the throw pillow that Yvonne ordered of Edel and for us to have eggs.  Eggs are my absolute favourite brunch item – I always dream of ordering waffles with bacon and maple syrup or pancakes with jam and cream but I never do.  Eggs every time.

I like the relaxed atmosphere at Joe’s.  I felt quite comfortable rocking up in my gardening jeans and raggedy old chuck taylors with a bit of makeup on.
I like the booths and the outside area that they have, I love the industrial-esque interior – especially the lights.
95% of the time the service is really good but the free wifi makes up for the 5% of servers that just can’t be bothered.  Our waitress was a bit of a hoot and when Yvonne asked for the largest coke zero that she had ever served, something of vase size, she came back with a huge milkshake cup.  It was pretty big!

Joe's Garage, HamiltonAfter we finished brunch we popped down to the other end of Victoria Street to see the team at Snapshot Cameras. We’d been talking compact cameras versus mirrorless and Digital SLRs and I thought it was important for Yvonne to see the difference in weight – but also that there was no difference in features.
And then we had to stop at the wall, my favourite wall in Hamilton. Modelled beautifully by my favourite man.

My guy. This wall.
