4. Woof, meow, quack. Squeak, moo, toot, weeeeeeeee, zing!
New and strange noises might have other people looking at you sideways but they will also get your pet looking at you.
Make the right noise and you may get the money shot – the super cute head tilt.
If you find a noise that works for you, use it sparingly as you don’t want your pet to get too used to it that they stop responding to it.
There are a few apps available for smartphones (such as Pose a Pet) that make noises for you and the squeaky toys that you can buy at your local pet shop always work a treat for us.
You can also use one of the words that your dog knows well – and remember to treat them after a good pose!
