The first annual Napier Photo Festival started this weekend in the Hawkes Bay.
Shayne Jeffares, from the Kitchen Table Cafe and the Photographers Gallery, has put together a collection of speakers, exhbitions, competitions and events. I have photographs on display [and for sale too] in OOMA – Objects of My Affection in Tennyson Street.
This Friday [03 October] I will be driving down and spending the weekend in ‘The Bay’.
On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th, I be will near the Sound Shell offering Mini Sessions and looking for dashing doggies to add to my portfolio (and Model Database) if anyone is interested. I’d love to meet a few people – dog owners, dog lovers and photographers – and have a yak about why Pet Photography is special to me. As a pet owner myself, the printed photographs I have of my animals are some of my most treasured items – and I would love for other pet owners to have the same.
After seeing this gorgeous photo of the sunny blue skies and the daisies near the Sound Shell, posted by Brena at the end of last week, I’m super excited! Cross your fingers that this coming weekend also has this amazing weather. Which, knowing Hawkes Bay, is quite likely!
Mini Sessions are still custom portrait sessions – but for a shorter amount of time. Here’s a bit more detail;
- Location: The Sound Shell, Marine Parade
- Times: Saturday 4th October from 3pm til 5pm and Sunday 5th October
- What’s Included: 20 minute portrait session time, 5 digital images with a print release (you can download them and arrange your own printing) available in your own online gallery. If you chose me to arrange your printing, you receive a $20 print credit.
If you stop by for a portfolio photograph [that’s one for me to use in my Portfolio], there is no session cost and I’ll send you one low-resolution non watermarked image that you can keep and share.
As always, if you have any questions or comments, then I would love to hear from you!
