Monday: It was my first day back at work today and the sun came out. It shone all day but it still feels like summer is coming. I loved the blue glass and the blue sky of this photograph.
Tuesday: Tomorrow Ken and I start the Whole 30. For a month we won’t be eating bread or legumes or any sugar. There’s no alcohol allowed but as much fresh fruit and vegetables as you like. I made home made mayo!
Wednesday: We drove up to Auckland to drop one of the kids off at the airport. Packed our dinner in the car, threw the dog in and went on a little trip. I wish it was a longer trip – it might be well past time to make some travel plans.
Thursday: Is it the weekend yet?
Friday: Fun with frisbees and very very rapid shooting! She moves so fast that these photographs are shot by luck more than design.
Saturday: A trip to the Tamahere Markets, tripping around doing chores and finally a trip to the park that Nixie loves. She’s very excited when she works out that yes, we are stopping and yes, she can get out.
Sunday: Experimenting with water (freezing cold river water straight off the mountain), my underwater rig and a 10-17mm fish eye lens. The water was too murky to see the doggies in it, but I caught Nixie flying through the air prior to a big belly flop.
