I still don’t know a lot about Scott Kelby – but today I participated in one of the 2011 Worldwide Photo Walk (Britomart – Wynyard Quarter, Auckland City).

Allie and I met down at the Westhaven Marina end of Wynyard Quarter and we started our walk from there.
Others were planning to meet up down at Britomart – but with the roads being closed due to the Rugby World Cup and parking and the like – we sneakily parked down at the dive shop and did our walk in the other direction.

I’m pretty sure that we talked nonstop!

We headed in to the Winter Garden that has been set up near the tanks and then did a tour of the wharf.

Along the way we had some pretty fascinating subjects.
On the list of things that Allie ‘supposedly’ organised;

  • Two Clydesdale horses and a cart
  • A Scottish marching band

She’ll probably try and claim the Scottish supporters and the very well placed waka – and if so, I’d say well done.
I’ll claim the set up that saw us avoiding the rain and having coffee and macaroons … after playing with them and our cameras and our speed lights of course!

I’d do the walk again – it’s nice to get out some where different but spending a few hours with someone else who loves their Nikon as much as I do was the best part of the day.
Thanks Allie!!
