Call me an Egg but I was totally excited about my first online grocery shopping experience.
I’d looked at using Countdown/Woolworths/Foodtown’s online service a couple of times but had been put off by the delivery fee. However last night, I was in the office at 7:30pm and I knew all there was in the cupboards and fridge was a smidge of wine and some Cup of Soup (chicken noodle of course).
20 minutes later, I had run through the nice list of items they provided me based on things I had purchased before and I had hit order. Yea yea so my One Card tracks my purchases. Big woop I reckon – it took me less than 20 minutes to do a weeks worth of grocery shopping.
and by 2pm I was unpacking every single item I had ordered. Well worth $12 thanks Foodtown!
