A couple of years ago, Nell and I set off on an adventure.
England, Scotland, New York, Boston, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Colombia, Ecuador, The Galapagos Islands, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. And I took my 20L pack – and a backpack.

Tomorrow morning I am off to Tokyo, Japan for a week.
And due to some off-road suitcase riding last year on the London Underground, I have that same pack – chocka, a carry-on trundler case and inside that, my handbag.

What the hell am I taking with me?

Ready Now!

Anyways, I employed the “take half as many clothes and twice as much money” rule.
Well the bit about the clothes at least.

And now it is all very respectable.
The pack is almost the size of the carryon luggage. Not bad when you consider it has 4 pairs of shoes and two handbags in it – plus not one but two wedding outfits (just in case – in case of what, I dont know – but I love that I can change my mind if I need to).

The carry-on could also fit more in it! And it is carrying two cameras, two books, the Mac Book I wasnt going to take and a bunch of girlie stuff for the flight.

I did well. But I dont really care all that much – I’m on holiday! YAYYY!
