almost as well as i broke my iphone a month or so ago …
in fact – actually – worse.
i have managed to either delete or remove my entire site from tarasutherland.net and now i have the pleasure of attempting to rebuild it from the backups i have taken and (hopefully) kept. Â Joy!
So I am looking for a new WordPress hosting site – and this time I would really prefer for it to be in New Zealand.
And then I will try and get all my shit back online.
If I can.
Yayyy.
Hello, I was tag surfing for my new blog on sprouting seeds and your plaintive cries popped up in my window.
Here is a link from my web design site: http://www.galaxywebsitedesign.com/blog/learn-how…
Last month I made quite a study of hosting services for one of my clients and posted the results on the site for the benefit of my other clients and anyone that happened by. I insist on only working with companies that have phone support and are nice to me. These two criteria eliminated most folks. But the few on the link above passed muster. You might want to check them out.
thank you for the link.
i was using godaddy for the hosting but am having all manner of nightmares getting them to restore my site and database from backup. hence trying to find a nice reliable host in my timezone.
Godaddy is not my first choice. And I use them mostly for domain name registration. That is pretty much the one thing they are good at. I have included them in the list mostly at the insistence of several clients that swear by them.
Your problem with godaddy is like the extra straw on a camel's back. I think I shall remove them from the list on Monday. I have had nothing but good results from bluehost and inmotionhosting.
