There are plenty of large Moray eels to be found around New Zealand waters and they are relatively well behaved.
Instead of sticking to Starfish all weekend, I decided to branch out and try to also work with keeping the Moray eels eyes in focus.
- Equipment: Nikon D300, AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED lens, Ikelite DS50 strobe, Ikelite housing
- Aperture: f3
- Shutter Speed: 1/60
- Adjustments: green saturation decreased (-67.5), exposure decreased (-0.2), vignette added
Again, strobe placement needs to be adjusted for more natural lighting and to remove more of the green tinge.
Hey Tara,
Any chance of a photo of your gear rig? I'm interested to see the housing etc.
Cheers
