Speckled Moray on Homestead Reef

There are plenty of large Moray eels to be found around New Zealand waters and they are relatively well behaved.
Instead of sticking to Starfish all weekend, I decided to branch out and try to also work with keeping the Moray eels eyes in focus.

  • Equipment: Nikon D300, AF-S Micro Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G ED lens, Ikelite DS50 strobe, Ikelite housing
  • Aperture: f3
  • Shutter Speed: 1/60
  • Adjustments: green saturation decreased (-67.5), exposure decreased (-0.2), vignette added

Again, strobe placement needs to be adjusted for more natural lighting and to remove more of the green tinge.
