my friend Alex (of the scuba saturday and Instructor Development Course famed stories) needs our help for her Volunteer trip to Kenya/Tanzania.
I’ve applied through the Global Volunteer Network (GVN), a private, Non Government Organization (NGO) based in Wellington, New Zealand that helps fit volunteers with several different types of local community projects going on around the globe. GVN works with the local organisations in several different countries.

In order for me to participate, I must raise $2,000 USD for the Kenyan Children’s Fund, organised through the GVN Foundation (the not-for-profit US partner of GVN).
