both alex and i were pleased with the way our Academic sessions came out this morning and pete seemed to be pleased too.
the great thing about working with pete is .. well actually one of the great things is his feedback.
its to the point, constructive, full of tips and whilst we might not have hit all of the points, we’re still totally enthused to keep cracking on and to do better each and every time we put a presentation together.
i need to work on my analogys to what i am teaching and ensure that the value of the sessions is clear but this will come with time and practice.
for the rest of the day, we looked at putting confined water sessions int0 a similar format. amazing how it all starts make sense and flow on nicely!
we also looked at the programs that AI’s can teach – Project AWARE and Peak Performance Buoyancy.
tomorrow we are in the pool. YAYY!
we have been allocated the skills that we are going to brief and demonstrate and then have our ‘students’ run through. we are going to be needing to keep a close eye on the ‘students’ as they do their skills as i dont think we are going to get of lightly. i have made sure i am familiar with the page that lists the problems that might occur.
we also have our skills circuit to complete again – the 20 skills. not my favourite part but once its done its done.
