00 – I was sad to have missed the memo on Hilary Barry’s #formalfriday on Friday. So I decided to have one of my own on Monday. I greeted our team on our daily Zoom standup in colourful sequins and a full face of makeup!
00 – I’m eating leftover mince out of a Sistema container because a) why not b) I want to eat it all anyways and c) Ken’s cleaned all the cupboards under the sink and now all the benches are covered in drying pots and pans. I dunno if that last one is a very good excuse but it sounds good to me and means I can post a photo of said pots and pans.
50 – heard chatter in the garden so I popped out the back door to check. Ken and Jesse (who’s working at the Zoo today) had set up chairs and were having a chat. Obviously the predator fence, and 2m of physical distancing, kept them separate but that’s a pretty cool solution for two guys who would often have much of their day together.
40 – I have just realised, remembered, that its Monday. And so its Outlander night. And I am an episode behind. Doing project documentation and watching Jocasta’s wedding.
30 – family walk time. Around the block, wave at the neighbours, sniff ALL the lamp posts and power poles. Got a photograph that I am really really really happy with for Photograph of the Day.
00 – do my Day One Facebook LIVE for the 12 Days of You Project. Realise that my lack of routine whining was actually me making a few choices – and one of those choices was staying in bed and not doing the AM workout. Well guess what gal, that’s going to stop from tomorrow! Tomorrow morning I will do my check-in photos, do a workout, get dressed and have a proper day!
00 – voice recordings from the WhatsApp family chat – from Tokyo, London, Hamilton and Greytown – turn into a family HouseParty.
