Lara’s Christmas present from her friend, and flatmate, Amanda was a session with me.
We chose the beautiful Taitua Arboretum as a location as Lara had asked for some still portraits of her pets Lad and Twinkle.
Lad is an 11 year old “terrier special”. He is known to very very chilled out and he has quite the stunning pose.
Miss Twinkle is also 11. She is a chihuahua and has the attitude that they are well known for! I was told she might take a wee while to warm up to me however we got on just fine – and she rewarded me with some beautiful sitting.
I love to talk owners into being in the photographs with their pets. Even though you might laugh or balk at it at the time, I promise you that you will be happy I did. The Arboretum has so many mini locations to choose from and the leaves are trees are beautiful in any season.
