It’s painfully obvious that naming a post after a day was a dumb idea.  I’m pretty bollocks at the whole regular featured post thing as it is.  This was just setting myself up for a fall!  I very rarely get this posted written and ready for a Tuesday – any Tuesday even!

I’ve been reading a few other blogs and bits and pieces around and I’m liking the series “Things I’m Loving” which is hosted by Meaghan at MNM which I found through Melissa at The Best Nest.

So that’s what I am doing – changing the name and keeping the reason.

Loving Cruising

Things are settling down around here.
I’m getting in to a really nice routine and after last weeks excitement of the “Attack Phase”, I’m seeing some results on some days and no movement on others. I’m also discovering yummy recipes and saving some money at the same time!

Loving Funny Texts

Mom and I are texting each day – which I love.
She’s pretty darn funny – except it’s not funny that she refuses to knit all these wonderful things so that I can pass them off as my own!

She’ll probably kill me when she see’s it – but I blogged one that I keep re-reading: If Someone Finds my iPhone

Loving Photography

And I’ve been photographing more.
As the 365 Project continues, I ran out of inspiration. I am still taking at least one photograph each day but they are just – well snaps. And I don’t have the drive (or the number of blankets required) to sit in the office each night loading and processing. So I’ve been doing them in chunks. Yes I still have all the gaps to fill. Yes I’ll get around to it.
I’ve learned my lesson with trying to keep three devices in synch … it just doesn’t work. I need to clear my work laptop and my macbook and that should get me up to date. But what I’m really saying here is thanks to Nikon lending me the new Nikon 1 V1, I’ve shrugged off my ‘creative’ block and am back with the lens.

Bus rides and Late Afternoon Skies. The regulars on my bus are used to be taking photographs … now. Earlier they thought I was weird I am sure

One more thing that has made photography pleasurable again is just not caring about who likes my work.
I started shooting things that I thought people would “Like” on Facebook – or click on Instagram etc etc. It’s about what I see and how I relate to my subjects and like the man above, now I am no longer looking around, I am happy again.
